R&D Project Manager, Digital Printing (MS/PhD) (Job Number: 190644W-01)

Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to define and then deliver on objectives for inkjet ink product development projects

Responsibilities

  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

  • Work with resource managers to ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Coordinate internal resources, third parties/vendors, and customer partners for flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Review progress with management on regular basis

  • Escalate issues to management as needed

  • Manage the relationship with all internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in chemistry, engineering, or related field

  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

  • Proven work experience as a project manager is desired

  • Excellent written and verbal customer-facing and internal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
