Seattle Children's Hospital Registration and Scheduling Float Coordinator, FSC in Seattle, Washington

The Registration and Scheduling Float will be responsible for scheduling accurate and timely appointments, creating new patient registrations, checking patients in for scheduled and walk-in clinical visits, and providing memorable customer experience for Seattle Children’s patients, families, and clinic partners. The Float will travel across a variety of different locations across the Seattle Children’s organization and will participate as a member of numerous teams across the Patient Access division. Serves as the first point of contact for patients and families seeking care in our Ambulatory Specialty Clinics. Works collaboratively with all team members to provide quality service to ensure delivery of safe patient care and services.

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of one (1) year customer service and/or administrative support experience.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Three or more years experience working in a health care setting or related field.

  • Significant experience working with the general public in a health care/customer service environment.

  • Familiarity with other cultures/bilingual skills.

  • Experience with electronic medical records systems.
