Seattle Children's Hospital Clinical Research Scientist in Seattle, Washington

Conducts research in a clinical capacity across all research phases including design, execution, and analysis and insures the quality and integrity of data and safe and proper management of study parameters. Provides scientific expertise in an ongoing capacity for research into the effectiveness of a collaborative care intervention in reducing post-concussion and co-occuring psychological symptoms in youth with persistent post-concussionve symptoms. May supervise Clinical Research Associates. Oversee, create, and maintain regulatory documents, organize protocol implementation and site initiation visits, and conduct routine monitoring of studies. Ensure that research projects are conducted in compliance with federal regulations, institutional/departmental guidelines and standards of Good Clinical Practice. Collaborates with Principal Investigator, taking direct responsibility for carrying out research/development activities. Makes detailed observations, analyzes and interprets data, and helps write manuscripts and grant applications.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Advanced degree in scientific related field (Master's, PhD, MD)

  • Minimum of four (4) years of related research experience

  • Pediatric research experience

  • N/A

Preferred:

  • CITI certification

  • Advanced degree in psychology or behavioral science

  • Grant writing experience
