Location: Round Rock, TX or Remote-Texas

This position will be responsible for supporting the Federal Oracle eBusiness Suite production environment, to include managing the environment, applying best practices to internal operations (ITIL). Also responsible for problem identification and escalation to development team and third parties as appropriate. Position may participate in on-call responsibilities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports and troubleshoots all modules within the Oracle E-Business Suite
Provides Oracle EBS technical support using Oracle developer tools such as PL/SQL, XML-Publisher, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow Builder, Oracle Forms, etc.
Participates in key efforts to implement new technologies or changes required to the environment
Assists in the monitoring and improvement of both existing and new IT processes such as change management, release management, and audit remediation for Oracle based systems
Assists in developing and designing reports for changes that affect infrastructure hardware and software and notifies appropriate business units with changes
Meets service level agreements for production support response and resolution
Implements and tests disaster recovery plans
Adheres to standards related to documentation, software development methodology, version control testing, and migration
Contributes to a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing
Interfaces with the business functional areas and others in IT
Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline with 8+ years relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 6+ years relevant experience; or equivalent work experience
Must be very strong with Oracle EBS modules, and understand the integration into all EBS modules from a technical perspective
Strong understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the relevant business
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship)
