Dell Account Manager 4, Inside Sales Channel in Round Rock, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving sales targets within product range and within assigned retail online space

  • Drive activities that increase the sale of products and/or services in assigned retail online space

  • Typically manages relationships within partners online space

  • Ensures retailer online space meets our standards in terms of policy adherence and merchandising

  • Utilizes retailer online space functionality along with Dell Marketing to maximize sell through

  • Responsible to ensure the online space delivers a positive customer experience

  • Responsible for serving as primary interface between retail partner, store sales AE and other operational partners

  • Manages processes and procedures relating to online/offline order administration, order fulfillment and communication

  • Evaluates and implements improvements to sales programs and processes including: anticipating demands, account management, leads, planning and prioritization, closing strategies, pricing and margin strategies, sales automation, tools and reporting programs

  • Communicate regularly with retailer to ensure product is properly marketed and forecasted

  • Maintain a high level of operational efficiency without error to make sure product delivered is correct and on time.

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales operational support

  • Manages order fulfillment

  • Researches customer or order problems, and delivers solutions working cross-functionally to resolve

  • Focuses on delivering a positive customer or partner experience

  • Facilitates product and sales information flow

  • Drives sales operations process improvements

  • Serves as interface for order status and handles order escalation and SKU management

  • May serve as primary interface with other internal functions, based on BU and/or regional requirements

  • May be responsible for influencing sales behavior and capabilities

  • At least 3-5 years of Dell sales experience

  • Working knowledge of Dell sales tools such as DSA and PWB

  • Proven record of performing at a high level with little to no mistakes

  • Ability to complete tasks while unsupervised

  • Project Manage multiple tasks to achieve desired goals/metrics
