JOB SUMMARY:

The Medical Assistant / MA will provide care and support to patients under the direction of the physician and/or mid-level provider. The Medical Assistant / MA contributes to the planning and delivery of patient focused care. The Medical Assistant / MA is responsible for providing assistance with various healthcare services and for assisting with administrative functions. Medical Assistants play a vital role in our practice as they room patients, complete intake assessments and improve the patient experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED required

Must have a current Medical Assistant National Certification.

In the last three (3) years, one (1) year experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a clinic or acute care setting preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

Bilingual

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Must have a current Medical Assistant National Certification.

Must have a current American Heart Association "Health Care Provider” BLS
