Penn State Health is seeking a board certified Family Medicine Physician to join our established care team at our Penn State Health Medical Group-Muhlenberg practice located in Berks County, PA . The practice is located about 4 miles north of downtown Reading.
The selected candidate will join our team of one physician and two advanced practice providers.The practice will be expanding and moving to a new location in the spring of 2020 as we add additional exam rooms to meet the growing demand of the practice. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in this new clinical workspace and as a valued member of the team will have the opportunity to be involved with the growth of the practice. This position is outpatient only with no inpatient requirements. The call schedule for this role is approximately one day every two to three weeks and one weekend every two to three months.
Candidates must have a MD, DO, or foreign equivalent and be board certified in Family Medicine. Candidates must also have completed an accredited Family Medicine Residency training program and be eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
