Senior Software Engineer

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products. (This may include: developing software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloudbased and Internetrelated tools.) Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
•Design, Implement robust software that complies with customer requirements and internal software processes.
•Able to systematically solve problems and perform root cause analysis.
•Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
•Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software reviews, identification of code metrics.
•Development of embedded software in 'C'.
•Perform unit level testing on software modules developed.
•Diagnosis and debugging on emulator and debugger, including use of test equipment (spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.).
•Ensure Software testing and quality assurance.
•Ensure software compliance with internal software development process (SPICE).
•Support meetings with cross functional project team, hardware/test team, and customers as needed.
•Meet project deadlines and cost constraints.
•BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
•5+ years of relevant experience in related technical field as an engineer.
•Proficiency with C/C++.
•Familiarity with microcontrollers with a RTOS.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.

•Cellular/wireless communications experience with knowledge of 3GPP/3GPP2 protocols including GSM/WCDMA/LTE and 5G.
•Automotive product development process.
•Automotive HW and embedded SW experience.
