Day and Evening
A team member who maintains anesthesia equipment to assure safe functioning. Assist the anesthesiologist and/or CRNA with non-clinical patient care. Maintains an adequate level of anesthesia specific supplies pre and post operatively. Can work independently. The age of population served is neonate to geriatric as defined in the unit-specific structural standards of the assigned area.
Education & Training: High School diploma or equivalent, ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology. Completion of Anesthesia Technician Program preferred. ASATT certification preferred. Certification in BCLS required.
Work Orientation & Experience: Knowledge of Aseptic Technique. Previous experience as a LPN, EMT or Anesthesia Technician preferred.
